We arranged a half-day trip for international interns to the Houbi Village in Tainan on 8/3. We made turtle-shaped rice cake together, a traditional Taiwanese ceremonial cake that symbolizes good luck and longevity. The students started by kneading the dough and completed an interesting DIY class.

On the way back, we went to the ice store of Taiwan Sugar Factory. In the hot summer, Pao-Ann Hsiung Professor treated the students to ice lollies. Everyone enjoyed the cool ice lollies and went back to school happily.
